COMPACT EXPANDING GATE VALVE

The M&J Compact Expanding Gate Valve is a full opening non-thru-conduit design that achieves superior sealing by utilizing a two-piece parallel expanding gate. It is a logical extension of the proven features of the M&J Expanding Gate Valve and the M&J M303 Fabricated Slab Gate Valve. The valve is constructed for increased reliability and ease of operation and maintenance, and is available in sizes 10” and larger, classes 150 and 300, for piping systems requiring positive shut off. The valve meets the end to end and other requirements of API 6D. It features a stem seal design with Chevron rings, a lantern ring design for packing box seal configuration, and a unique centralizer mechanism for sealing integrity. The valve also offers in-line repair/maintenance capabilities and mechanical sealing for superior sealability.
