BFS-VRM 03 HP / LP

The BFS-VRM 03 is a high-speed analog modulated driver designed for seed applications, DVD-Disk mastering, and printing applications. It offers an output current range from 0 to 3 A, capable of overdriving single-mode diodes for short pulses. The pulse widths are continuously adjustable from 1 ns to continuous wave (cw) via an analog input signal, making it unique in the market. The driver features protective functions and is cooled by a baseplate, similar to other drivers from PicoLAS. It includes innovative current regulation to prevent laser diode overshoots and over-current, protection against transient currents, overtemperature shutdown, and various monitoring and control features.
