The CDD Channel Monster is a wastewater solids reduction grinder designed to protect pumps and sensitive equipment by capturing and grinding tough solids in high-flow systems. It features an open channel configuration, grinder cutter stack heights ranging from 450 mm to 1500 mm, and is equipped with hardened alloy steel cutters and ductile iron housings. The grinder has a flow rate up to 2775 m3/hr and is suitable for applications such as pump stations, collection systems, headworks at wastewater treatment plants, and private facility discharge to municipal sewer systems. The Monster Renew grinder offers a solution for replacing worn grinders with a new factory-built grinder cartridge, minimizing downtime and providing a quick turnaround. The Channel Monster also includes various frame options and a controller designed for maximum grinding ability with minimal stoppage.
