SureFire™ II High Energy Spark Igniter (HESI)

The SureFire II High Energy Spark Igniter (HESI) is designed for direct spark ignition of most gas or liquid fuels used in oil or gas pilots or main burners. It is available in various configurations including integrated power pack with spark rod, split power pack and spark rod options, hazardous area power pack and spark rod options, and optional coaxial retractors. The HESI is classified as a Class 3 special igniter and finds typical applications in petrochemical and refineries, heaters and reformers for metal industries and kilns, power burners in steam-raising plants, and more. It features selectable voltage, visual indication of spark operation, proof of spark relay, and thermal cutout protection integrated in the transformer.
