Piezo-Actuator Cartridge with AE Sensor for DTR3000 and V2002 Spinstands

This document describes a new generation of Guzik cartridges equipped with a Piezo actuator for DTR3000 and V2002 spinstands. The Piezo actuator enhances the servo closed loop bandwidth, typically ranging from 2–3 kHz, which results in a significant reduction of non-repeatable run-out (NRRO) to 0.35–0.60 nm (0.014–0.024 Inch). The improved servo bandwidth also enhances seek time, leading to a reduction in test time.
