Dynatrol® Series 3000 and Model 3KL Digital Converters are designed for use with all Dynatrol® Viscosity Systems. These digital converters utilize microcontroller technology to gather information from a Dynatrol® Viscosity Detector to calculate the viscosity of the liquid under test. They display the viscosity in standard units. The advantages include increased speed and accuracy without compromising reliability, no programming required, simple calibration and keypad operation, readability with LCD displays for temperature, viscosity, and status, and the ability to monitor the process via PC or laptop with RS-232 two-way communication. The operation principle involves Dynatrol® Viscosity Detectors producing signals mathematically related to the fluid's viscosity, with the digital converters using two known product values as reference points for calibration.
