COMROD APX-GPS - GPS antenna element for Manpack antennas

2025-03-15
The APX-GPS is a Mil-Spec GPS active receiving antenna designed for use with Comrod Man-Pack antennas. It is integrated between the spring/gooseneck and antenna whip to replace separate GPS and VHF communication antennas. The GPS antenna is unaffected by the use of full transmitting power on VHF, and a filter on the GPS coaxial cable prevents VHF signal interference. Key specifications include compatibility with APX10 & APX27 antennas, L1 frequency range, 26.5 dB preamplifier gain, and a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C. The antenna is mounted using M10 male/female threads.
