■ Description of Change
▲ Silicon Labs announces an End of Life (EOL) and Last Time Buy (LTB) for Si7006/13/20/21, Si7022/23, Si705x RHT/Temperature Sensor Devices.
▲ Existing customers may place LTB orders per the key dates above and guidelines listed in this EOL form.
▲ All customer orders placed after the EOL Issue Date will be Non-Cancellable and Non-Returnable (NCNR). These orders will need to have a Customer Requested Delivery Date (CRD) before the EOL Effective Date. As of this EOL Issue Date, Silicon Labs will no longer accept customer orders with a CRD beyond the EOL Effective Date. Additionally, these orders will be Built to Order (BTO) and may have extended lead times. See your sales or distributor representative for new Lead Times.
▲ Note: Silicon Labs will accept customer orders that are received prior to the Last Order Date shown above, but does not guarantee that it will be able to fill all or part of any orders due to limited availability, manufacturing issues or other reasons beyond Silicon Labs’ reasonable control. Estimated delivery dates beyond normal lead time should not be considered as a firm acceptance or a guarantee of supply at any time.

■ Reason for Change
▲ After careful evaluation of our product strategy, Silicon Labs has decided to reduce our sensor product portfolio and focus our support and investments on Wireless IoT products. The sensors will no longer be broadly supported. Additionally, the PBO material used in the Si7006/20/21 and Si7022/23 devices has been identified to contain Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl substances
(PFAS). We are taking proactive actions to eliminate PFAS.
