■Inductive sensors with large sensing distances get influenced by metals in the surrounding. Therefore, the sensing distance needs to be adjusted manually before using the sensor. This can be done easily and quickly with the Proxi-Teach.
■The Proxi-Teach function recognizes metals in the surrounding by one press of the button and sets the maximum possible sensing distance automatically. This ensures safe object detection and stable operation, over the whole ambient temperature range.
