■FIS has the cable assemblies in a variety of fiber, connector and jacket size combinations that meet customer application requirements. Optical fiber is manufactured by Corning for both singlemode and multimode cable assemblies. Jacket size ranges from 3.0mm, 2.0mm, 1.6mm or 1.2mm in Riser, Plenum or Low Smoke Zero Halogen rating. Cable assemblies can be simplex ( 1 fiber) or duplex (2 fiber). Custom length and jacket colors are available. Singlemode cable assemblies have either Ultra Polish (UPC) or Angle Polish (APC) finish applied to zirconia ferrule. Performance of OM3, OM4 and OM5 cable assemblies meet industry standards for 100Gb/s transmission. Singlemode cable assemblies exceed G.657.A1 ITU-T standard with bend radius of 10mm. Patch Cable compliant with ANSI/TIA568.3-D.
