Model 8447 6-Channel RJ45 Cat5e / MIL-STD-1553B Concentric Twinaxial Connector A/B Switch
■The PathWay® Model 8447 6-Channel RJ45 Cat5e/MIL-STD-1553B Concentric Twinaxial Connector A/B Switch allows the user the capability of sharing a single port interface device connected to the “COM” port among two other devices connected to the “A” and “B” ports for each channel. The Model 8447 is enclosed in a 2U, full rack size, all metal black chassis designed to provide EMI/RFI shielding and fit in a standard 19” rack.
●FEATURES:
■The switch ports are transparent to all data.
■All pins of the RJ45 interface are switched.
■Both center conductors of the MIL-STD-1553B interface are switched.
■All channels are switched simultaneously.
■When power is lost, unit reverts to the “A” position for all channels.
■When power is restored, the unit automatically switches to the last known position.
■Front panel LED’s display switch position and power status.
