EC200, EC400, EC800 Series 10 Mbps Multiport Repeaters
■The Multi-port Repeater series allows for connection between two and eight Ethernet IEEE 802.3 segments. Each segment can support up to 30 computers, which means that our EC800 series repeaters can support 240 computers. The EC400 series has four BNC ports, whereas the EC800 series has eight BNC ports. For media flexibility, these units also offer AUI and / or fiber connections for connection to the backbone or remote facility. The EC200 series two port repeaters can be configured in any combination of Fiber, BNC or AUI. All multi-port series repeaters re-time data packets, regenerate preamble, extend collision fragments and automatically or manually partition problem segments. All our Multi Port Repeaters have the connectors located on the front panel for easy accessibility, and the LEDs located on the front for ease of monitoring.
