●The SPiiPlusSC leverages EtherCAT and modern CPU technology to provide high-tech OEM machine builders an optimal IPC (industrial PC)-based or SBC (single board computer)-based motion controller solution. The software-based real-time controller provides an elegant alternative to PCI/PCle plug-in motion controller cards. It seamlessly controls via EtherCAT any SPiiPlus Platform Drive, Drive Interface, I/O Module, or Laser Control device, as well as non-ACS EtherCAT devices, providing flexibility for the motion control system designer.

●SPiiPlusSC is available in two versions to address two categories of motion control applications:

●SPiiPlusSC-HP for high-performance data-intensive applications such as next generation semiconductor metrology and electronics assembly equipment

●SPiiPlusSC-LT for cost-and footprint-sensitive applications such as NGS (next generation sequencing) instruments and AOl equipment

●Both versions include a real-time operating system and are designed for use with IPCs/SBCs with supported Windows/Linux operating systems and supported ethernet network adapters. SPiiPlusSC-HP uniquely provides shared RAM communication between the soft motion controller and host applications to enable high levels of machine throughput for high-speed data/communication-intensive applications.
