High security door guard
■Over half of all burglaries are initiated by forced entry. A majority of these are accomplished by kicking in a door. Bar door guards help keep you safe from strangers when answering your door. The addition of an innovative backup thumb turn blocks widely available emergency release tools from disengaging the bar lock for extra security.
■HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION:
●Cast high pressure zamac bar lock and swing loop keeper.
■ENGAGE BACKUP THUMB TURN FOR EXTRA SECURITY:
●Defeats lock picking tool by not allowing door to be opened when thumb turn lock is engaged.
■EMERGENCY RELEASE FEATURE:
●In an emergency situation, thumbturn will blow off at 110 lbs. of force, which is much greater than a simple kick in, so the emergency release feature does not compromise your security.
■SAFELY EXAMINE VISITORS:
●Ball on bar lock interlocks to keeper which allows door to be opened slightly for viewing.
