AF 680 Fluorinated rubber (FEPM)
▲Description of material
■Aflas® is a special rubber that belongs to the fluoroelastomers group. Materials based on Aflas demonstrate extraordinarily good resistance to numerous specific media and chemical, such as: hot water, water vapour, acids, alkaline solutions, ammonia, bleaching agents, sour (H2S) gases and oils, plus amines, especially media with amino-containing additives and oxidised media. There are limitations in respect of aromatic hydrocarbons. The operating temperatures are similar to those of fluoroelastomers. Furthermore, this material complies with FDA regulations.
