ITW Formex® Statex Product Upgrade Statex replaced with Formex GS

●ITW Formex is pleased to announce that our research and development team have developed a Staticized version of Formex GK products. This innovation allows ITW Formex to provide Statex customers the same surface resistivity (109 – 1011 ohms per sq) using the Formex GK base material. This provides customers to use the advanced Formex GK product that includes the more robust RTI (Relative Thermal Index) rating of 1150C. All Statex products are being replaced with Formex GS as a result. The following table is provided to help clarify details related to the transition.
■Statex 10 is replaced by Formex GS10
■Statex 18 is replaced by Formex GS17
■Statex 31 is replaced by Formex GS30
●Product availability is scheduled for Q4 2017 depending on consumption of existing inventories. Formex GS materials will be provided in same roll width and length as existing Statex products. We think you will agree the updated product will better serve you and your customers. ITW Electronic Component Solutions inside Sales team will coordinate this transition with your purchasing teams.
