HAZARDOUS LOCATION SOLENOIDS INTRINSICALLY SAFE
■Description
●The intrinsically safe (ia) is a protection technique for safe operation of electrical equipment in hazardous areas by limiting the energy, electrical and thermal, and available for ignition. Intrinsically safe solenoids must be powered through a barrier which limits the voltage and current to levels that will not ignite an explosive atmosphere. The intrinsically safe system design approach simplifies circuits and reduces installation cost over other protection methods. This product is developed for use in all zones and divisions found in topside explosive atmospheres including chemical, oil and gas applications.
