Declaration regarding "The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 by the State of California (USA)" also known as California Proposition 65

2024-02-08
●The above act protects the Californian state's drinking water sources from being contaminated with chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm, and requires companies to inform Californians about exposures to such chemicals.
●Diotec's products are not intended to be sold to end-users, as such we are not subject to California Proposition 65. We take our responsibility in the supply chain however very serious, and inform therefore our customers hereby about potential exposures by our components during or after use in their devices sold to their end-users.
●Some of our parts contain Lead, Antimony Trioxide and Tetrabromobisphenol A, which are all subject to California Proposition 65.
●The users of our parts needs to assess whether the end-users of their devices could be exposed to these materials during normal use of the product. If yes, then they should provide an appropriate “safe harbour” warning and communicate the name of one Proposition 65 substance for each endpoint.
