SAA1213 Ultra-Small Size, 12-Bit, 1MSPS, SAR ADC Preliminary Datasheet
■The SAA1213 is a 12-bit, 1MSPS, ultra-small size analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The device features a capacitor-based, successive-approximation register (SAR) ADC with an integrated sample-and-hold circuit. SAA1213 supports a wide range of analog input voltage from 2.7 V to 5.25 V.
■The SPI-compatible serial interface is controlled by the CSB and SCLK signals. The CSB falling edge is used to sample the input signal, while SCLK is used for conversion and serial data output. With a digital IO supply range from 1.65V to 3.6V, the device can easily interface with various host controllers.
■The SAA1213 operates between -40°C and 125°C and is available in an 8-pin, small, leaded X2QFN package. Due to its ultra-small size and low power consumption, this device is ideal for battery-powered, space-constrained applications.
