EOL Notice of GT9896 Series
●Dear Valuable Customers：
■Thanks for your continuous support to Goodix!
■Along with our product upgrade and iteration, there are other chips gradually replacing commercial application of GT9896 series in the market, which causes its market share remaining close to zero. Thus for the purpose of centralizing supply to match the market demands, Goodix decides to stop the GT9896 series chips (for the chip P/N: GT9896 / GT9896S) supply (EOL) step by step as follows:
▲No acceptance of new project design in any more since 01/01/2024;
▲No acceptance of new PO any more since 03/01/2024.
■We suggest you to switch said chips to GT9895/GT9916 series if you are seeking for replacement thereof. Please kindly make preparations for relevant projects under running or nearly building such as stock up and switch of your chips etc. Also, please let us know if you think there is any conflict between our current effective contracts and this notice.
