Jowatherm-Reaktant® MR 609.93 PUR Hot Melt Low in Monomer Meets IMO Resolution MSC.307(88)-(FTP-Code 2010) Annex 1, Part 5

2023-11-20
●Directions for Use:
■Polyurethane hot melt adhesive, not subject to labelling requirements under the German Ordinance on Hazardous Substances.
■Processing with special equipment from moisture-proof sealed containers.
■For the manufacture of structural parts that have to meet the IMO Resolution MSC.307(88)-(FTP-Code 2010) Annex 1, Part 5, the maximum application amount of 95 g/m² may not be exceeded.
■The viscosity of the product may increase during storage due to the ingredients’ chemical reactions that cannot be influenced. High storage temperatures promote that increase in viscosity.
■Different types of hot melt adhesives may be incompatible with each other depending on the formulation. Therefore, we recommend to carefully clean the application equipment when changing the product. Further information is available upon request.
■The processing characteristics may vary depending on the application technology used as well as at differing feed speeds, which can affect the bonding process.
■Customer trials are required.
