●The chip-versions are produced in the chip-sizes 0402 up to 1210 and have mainly at the sizes 0402 and 0603 a fast response to temperature changes. The high values at the sizes 1206 and 1210 are achieved by using a special meander-structure by fine-line printing. The contact material at the standard version consists of a PtAg-alloy with good solderability, which also is suited for conductive gluing and for high-temperature applications up to 200ºC. Further these contacts have non-magnetic properties, so they can be used in high magnetic fields as existing in medical applications.
●The leaded versions are based on the chip sizes 1206 and 1210, and have flexible wire-leads fixed with high-temperature solder to the resistor element. A silicon-resin coating is protecting the resistor element against moisture and dirt from the environment. Both versions have the typical long-term stability of Thickfilm resistors with resistor-changes below 1% at the standard test procedures, and are manufactured with the same economic processes as existing resistor series.
