●Assembly bonding of sand cores in casting operations.
■Characteristics/Directions for Use
●Medium viscosity.
●Long open time, high hot tack, and good adhesion. Can be applied with automatic applicators and hand guns with nozzle application.
●Customer trials are required.
●Processing temperature [ºC]: 170 – 190 (338 – 374 ºF)
●Appearance: Yellow, translucent
●Density at 20 ºC (68 ºF) [g/cm³]: approx. 0.97 ± 0.02 (8.1 ± 0.17 lb/gal)
●Softening point [ºC]: approx. 100 ± 5 (212 ± 9 ºF) (Kofler bench)
●Open time at 160 ºC (320 ºF) [s]: approx. 14 ± 1
●Setting time at 160 ºC (320 ºF) [s]: approx. 1.5 ± 0.5
