■Purchased components make up over 70% of the NIDEC GLOBAL APPLIANCE BRASIL-finished product. Besides the cost factor, NIDEC GLOBAL APPLIANCE BRASIL depends on the quality of the purchased parts, as it is not possible to control all aspects of the product during incoming and in-process controls. Additionally the requirements of our OEM-customers are increasing and quality failures may cause high quality claim for NIDEC GLOBAL APPLIANCE BRASIL and our Suppliers.
■Therefore, this Handbook communicates GPM’s Customer Specific Quality requirements and expectations to direct material Suppliers to allow a high quality supply chain, reducing risk and costs for all parties.
●Scope
■This Supplier Handbook applies to all suppliers of direct material.
■Suppliers certified by IATF 16949: 2016 and or ISO 9001: 2015 should use this document as a supplement.
■The supplier has the responsibility to ensure compliance with NIDEC GLOBAL APPLIANCE BRASIL requirements, keeping records of the results of the assessments, including evidence of Conformity.
■The supplier shall use the AIAG reference manuals for APQP, SPC, PPAP, FMEA and MSA processes.
■NIDEC GLOBAL APPLIANCE BRASIL forms can be requested from the responsible SQE or Purchaser.
■It is the supplier's responsibility to search for updates.
