●Purpose and scope of application
■This Wieland standard provides rules regarding the ban of prohibited substances and mandatory declarations for all materials delivered to Wieland Electric.
■This standard applies to all materials delivered to Wieland Electric such as
▲ material preparations
▲ basic materials
▲ manufactured goods such as
◆ components
◆ semi-finished goods
◆ commodities
◆auxiliary supplies for manufacturing
◆ packaging materials
■in the following referred to as "materials".
■Compliance with this standard is to enable Wieland Electric to fulfill all legal requirements for handling these materials in all phases of the product life cycle. Furthermore it is to be guaranteed that legal and customer requirements regarding the products' substances are fulfilled.
■The supplier's obligation of meeting national laws and regulations is not affected by this standard.
