IKL-F/G/H-Rxxx High Current Resistors for Calibration
ompact, high-quality, easily mountable and calibrationable resistors for the measurement of currents up to
2000A.
The 4-wire resistors are completely pluggable, so that they can be exchanged very easily and quickly for ca-
bration purposes in the measuring systems. The precision alloy Manganin, which is used in our IKL series
guarantees a low temperature coefficient and a high stability of time. The low thermal internal resistance
together with the high heat capacity as well as the extremely low thermal voltage against copper, allows on
the one hand the measurement of very high impulse and permanent currents and on the other hand also the
secure detection of extremely small DC currents in the mA range. This is even possible immediately after a
high current load
The resistors are supplied with a DKD calibration certificate to meet the highest requirements of calibration
measurements. The Manganin temperature can be precisely determined with a Pt100 temperature sensor,
which is part of the IKL-H-RxXX series, so that a correction of the already low temperature coefficient of the
electric resistance of Manganinis possible.
