RHM20W Series 20W High Isolation DC/DC Converter for Railway and Industrial Applications
●This 20W DC/DC converter series offer single and dual output models in a 1.6”x1” package. It extends these high performance and high isolation DC/DC converters to be a complete series of 3W, 6W, 10W, 20W and 40W. They have an input range of 36-160VDC and are equipped with circuits for over/under-voltage protection, over-current and short-circuit and over-temperature protection.
●This high-density power converter series is realized by using a patented transformer design, which lets the converters perform with an efficiency of up to 90.5%. The high dielectric strength plastic housing with high-thermal conductivity, comparable with metal casing, performs the isolation between input-case-output and allows an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
●Our highly experienced R&D designers have equipped these converters additionally with internal EMI circuits: IEC/EN 55032 Class A and IEC/EN 50121-3-2, to simplify the design for saving space on PCB. This series is certified according to IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, EN 50155 and EN 45545-2.
●Additionally, shock and vibration are compliant with EN 61373 and MIL-STD-810F. With an operating altitude of up to 5000 meters, a wide operating ambient temperature of -40°C to +105°C, 36-160VDC input range, makes them very suitable for any safety critical application where a SELV output is mandatory. Examples are Bus Voltages of 72, 96, 110 VDC which need a safety barrier on the secondary side in rolling stocks, in transportation or in harsh industrial environments.
