Mounting instruction for Optocoupler 525-..-i and 535-..-i
●The optoelectronic coupler of the 525- -0-i and 535-..-0-i series serve as galvanic isolation of intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe circuits within devices which are installed outside an explosive area
Either the emitter circuit or the detector circuit can be connected with the intrinsically safe circuit.
●The optocouplers must be installed in such way that the connection pins are provided with a degree of protection of at least IP20.
●Do not exceed the maximum allowable power dissipation of the non-intrinsically safe circuit at an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Max power dissipation on the emitter side is 400mW and 600mW on the detector side.
