RoHS / ELV Compliance for RF Solutions Products
■Directive 2015/863/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on restriction of the use of hazardous substances (RoHS 3)
■Directive 2000/53/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on end-of life vehicles
■The People’s Republic of China standard SJ/T 11363-2014 (RoHS 2) marking for the restricted use of hazardous substances
●Collectively these directives prohibit the following chemicals in electrical and electronic components at the quantities specified below:
●Rogers is able to advise that all of our RF Solutions products 1 are in compliance 2 with the regulations stated above.
●A brominated aromatic imide is used in some RO4000® Series products. This flame retardant has not been implicated in the possible production of dioxins, as have some other brominated flame retardants, and there are no known restrictions at this time.
●Rogers Corporation can advise that our RF Solutions products 1 are tested for RoHS compliance every five years, and all related SGS reports are deemed valid within that time period. If it is deemed necessary, RoHS testing is performed up front prior to management sign-off for any raw material changes or new formulations. If a constituent containing any of the hazardous substances that would otherwise impact RoHS compliance is changed in any of our products within the five-year period, all affected material will be retested.
