XC Series of high-performance PLCs Scalable automation and open programming for PLC applications
■The XC Series modular PLCs offer the flexibility needed to meet the demanding requirements of today’s automation projects. The broad range of XIOC expansion modules enables scalable and compact PLC configurations:
●XSoft-CoDeSys-2 software for advanced control and vizualization programming (IEC 61131-3 standard)
●Available with high-density 32-point I/O expansion modules
●Easy installation with removable screw or spring-loaded terminal connections
■All XC controllers can be expanded locally with up to 15 XIOC expansion modules. Eaton has three XC modular controllers in its family, including XC101, XC201 and XC202. XC201 controllers include Ethernet with the Web server optional. XC202 controllers include an Ethernet port and an integrated Web server. Fast and efficient CANopen communications are standard on all XC controllers.
■XC controllers can facilitate several applications with CoDeSys communication libraries, including:
●FTP server and client data exchange
●UDP and TCP/IP data exchange
●Modbus® serial and Modbus TCP communications
●OPC server data exchange
●SMS or email communications
