056-PNS AOM Fiber Routing Instructions
● Remove silicone wraps from fibers and re-install one 3-4” from coupler to help contain the bundle.
● Cut splice sleeve for desired # of splice sleeves (optional)
● Install splice sleeve holder at a 45 deg angle 3/8” away from strain relief as shown
● Strip 12-14” of furcation tube/ sheathing off fiber that you will be splicing to.
● Splice the fibers
● Create a left loop above the AOM by routing the ribbon under the tab on the side wall and secure furcation tube to strain relief
● Re-install strain relief wall/plate
● Route the right side of the loop under the bottom row of couplers while lifting the 250
● Push ribbons up against the bottom of the couplers to consume slack
● Create another loop as in step #5
● Secure sleeves into position 2 & 3 to allow proper bend radius
● Route the second loop as in step #7 allowing fiber to relax in a loop below the AOM
