Use of Honeywell Respiratory Components and Replacement Parts

●Respiratory Protection products are designed and approved as complete systems by NIOSH and other certification organizations. When updating and improving components to these complete systems, Honeywell strives to make the updated components backward-compatible and approved with earlier versions of the affected respirators. However, this is not always feasible. As a result, components approved for one respirator may not be approved for use with, nor operate with, another generation or version of that respirator.
●When ordering replacement parts and accessories, it is critical that customers understand which respiratory system they are using to ensure that the replacement part or accessory that is ordered is not only compatible with the system the customer has, but is also NIOSH-approved for use with that system. Use of unapproved configurations may result in the respirator not functioning as intended and may cause serious injury, illness, or death to the person using the respirator
