DME CD PV1 Data concentrator for photovoltaic application
●In photovoltaic plants it is important to have a tool that is able to determine how efficiently the produced energy is being used. An accurate analysis requires at least two points of energy measurement, typically the energy produced by the panels and the energy absorbed by the loads. DMECDPV1 is a data concentrator that collects in a single device the measured energies and some coefficients calculated from these. The device is already programmed to handle:
◆the energy pulses from produced energy meter (input 1);
◆the energy pulses coming from the absorbed energy meter (input 2);
◆the energy pulses from the meter for imported energy from the distributor, if available;
◆the calculation of the exchanged power as the difference between the produced power and the absorbed power;
◆the connection of two groups of "non-priority" loads when granted by the available power;
◆the disconnection of “non-priority” loads not to exceed the maximum amount of power agreed with the distributor.
●They are also available two coefficients:
◆self-consumption that indicates the level of usage of the PV system;
◆the autonomy that shows the level of self-sufficiency of the PV system.
