●The MSK 4225 is a complete H-Bridge circuit to be used for DC brushed motor control or Class D switchmode amplification.All of the drive/control circuitry for the lowside and highside switches are internal to the circuit.The 45KHz PWM circuitry is internal as well,leaving the user to only provide an analog signal for the motor speed/direction,or audio signal for switchmode audio amplification.The MSK 4225 is constructed in a space efficient plastic power package that can be directly bolted to a heatsink.
●This configuration can be used to control a variety of loads,such as a brushed DC motor or a voice coil.Because of the internal PWM generator,all the user needs to do is provide an analog voltage representative of the PWM duty cycle desired on the output.
●The evaluation board provides a platform from which to evaluate new designs with ample real estate to make changes and evaluate results.Evaluation early in the design phase reduces the likelihood of excess ripple,instability,or other issues,from becoming a problem at the application PCB level.
●This application note is intended to be used in conjunction with the MSK4225 data sheet.Reference the device data sheet for additional application information and specifications.
