Enable or Disable “Bridge Mode”in the DeviceMaster FreeWire

◆In order to enable bridging on the FreeWire device, a remote console command needs to be entered since this configuration setting is not available on the web browser interface. You can access the remote console by connecting to the device’s IP address using telnet as seen in the following instructions.
◆This document assumes that you have already assigned an IP address to the DeviceMaster Freewire that is compatible with your network. If you have not, you may download the management utility.
◆Once installed the management utility will be started from Start Button>Programs>Comtrol>FreeWire
◆The DeviceMaster has as the default IP address 192.168.250.250 with a subnet of 255.255.0.0. This document will not discuss IP configuration procedures.
