◆REACH is the European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006). It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical substances. The law entered into force on 1 June 2007. Pepperl + Fuchs Comtrol, Inc. supports the objectives of REACH and the responsibility the legislation places on all actors in the supply chain to manage the safe use of substances. Pepperl + Fuchs Comtrol, Inc is committed to complying with REACH.
◆The products that are provided to you by Pepperl + Fuchs Comtrol, Inc meet the definition of “Article” and do not have intentional release of substances or preparations and, consequently, will not require registration of any chemical substances.
◆Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) listed by the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) are not intentionally or knowingly added to Pepperl + Fuchs Comtrol, Inc products during manufacture. We will continue to work with our suppliers to identify any SVHC components contained in the materials procured for use in manufacturing Pepperl + Fuchs Comtrol, Inc products. Customers will be notified if any SVHC use is determined.
◆Based on information supplied from each of our qualified suppliers, our products DO NOT CONTAIN any of the substances on the list of SVHC in a concentration greater than 0.1% by weight (205 substances as of 1/6/2020).
