▲ Type 1, 2, 3 and low current surge arresters provide protection against overvoltages which occur between each active conductor and earth (Ph/E, N/E) and, in certain configurations, between active conductors (Ph/N, Ph/Ph), known as Common mode and Differential mode respectively.

▲ Integrated thermal disconnection ensures protection against short-circuiting the network. Remote signalling is used to remotely monitor the state of the surge arrestor.
