Using JDSU's Family of SDA Sweep for Forward and Balance

■Set-up of forward sweep: A diplex filter is used to combine reverse signals into the rack mount unit instead of a splitter or DC-12 because of isola-tion issues, and the return fiber receiver is more than likely 5-200 MHz. This could cause jitter on the forward sweep if not set-up properly. Because the Stealth transmitter must see itself, be careful with what is in this “loop”, such as launch amps, filters, etc; it could cause problems.
