GR100 Series Reed Switches Product Discontinuation Notice
●In 2008 Standex developed an alternative to the GR (Rhodium) switch using a hybrid Palladium alloy. The GP range of switches are U/L approved and successfully sold world-wide for 10 years. The performance of the GP switch has been extensively tested and is comparable to the GR range as it was previously.
●Standex began consolidating the Kent brand GR501 & GR560 series of reed switches to the Palladium GP501 & GP560 in 2019. Standex Electronics has completed this consolidation with the discontinuation of the GR100 series through all global distribution channels, effective immediately. The GR100 series reed switches have been replaced with the GP100 series.
●As a result, any open orders for the discontinued part numbers will be canceled. The attached Distribution Price List "2022-Jan-01-v02-Stdx-Distribution-Price-List" has been updated to reflect the Discontinued Part Status.
