OptoDriver Toolkit DATA SHEET
■The OptoDriver Toolkit—mistic I/O and Optomux—provides the tools you need to build custom PC-based control and SCADA solutions using Opto 22 I/O systems. With the OptoDriver Toolkit, you can write Microsoft® Windows® and DOS software applications that talk directly with the Opto 22 brain board, rack, and I/O combination that best fits your application. And you can develop these applications using high-level languages, such as Microsoft Visual C++ or Microsoft Visual Basic®.
■The OptoDriver Toolkit—mistic I/O and Optomux—is a CD-ROM-based product. The Toolkit contains the drivers, examples, and documentation necessary for direct communication between application programs running on a PC and Opto 22 I/O systems using mistic I/O and Optomux protocols.
■The Toolkit provides 32-bit and 16-bit Microsoft Windows drivers as well as Opto 22's Classic DOS drivers, which support most of Opto 22's I/O product line (SNAP, Brick, and Classic I/O hardware families). Examples are included for Visual Basic and Microsoft Visual C++. Documentation includes tips for using the drivers as well as the complete command reference in both online help and PDF file formats.
