XL411 Manual Fiber Cleaver Operating Manual
■The design of this suspension cleaver allows the blade position to be adjusted. Since only a small portion of the blade is used to cut the fiber, the design allows for a longer blade lifetime.
■The operation follows a simple 4-step cleave sequence. The design ensures consistent cleaves less than 0.5°. For ease of use, the 4-step sequence is clearly indicated on the tool making this an ideal instrument for laboratory or production environments. This device can cleave standard 125/250 μm and 125/900 μm fibers as well as ribbon fibers with an adapter plate sold separately through Alcoa Fujikura.
