WattUp Transmitter and Receiver Algorithm Application Note
■This document provides high level description of the WPT transmitter states and how it goes through the different states for detection, scanning for BLE advertisements and start charging one or more receivers.
■The communication between transmitter and receivers is required to authenticate receivers, do power control and charging control. Transmitter is able to verify that the receiver gets power only through itself. In addition, enable transmitter to determine charging zone using WPT and advertisement combination. Also,it gives ability to discard receiver being charged on nearby transmitters.
■There are two schemes supported by Energous Transmitter and Receivers.
◆Simplex Mode: Advertisement Only Scheme (Feature Pack FP1)
◆Duplex Mode: Connection Based Scheme (Feature Pack FP2)
