SURVIVAIR SCBA QUICK CONNECTS Technical Bulletin

●The SCBA Quick connect couplings, part numbers 980077 and 941880, have been modified. The new configuration reduces the possibility of the facepiece hose accidentally disconnecting from the regulator.
●Both fittings are pictured below. The new version has a safety catch positioned so that an improperly connected hose will become caught in the slot. When this occurs, breathing becomes difficult, alerting the user to inspect the hose connection.
