Application Sheet: Static Control On Stretch Hood Palletiser Preventing Misfeeding
▲The blocking in the material caused during the production of the lay flat tube & static charges generating during unwinding, can cause too much resistance when opening the tube, pulling the tube off the fingers.
■Solution
▲Mounting a Hyperion 924IPS Bar 20mm from the web path, just before the last path roller before the nip rollers on the top of the wrapper, will remove enough of the static charge generated by the unwinding and some of the blocking charge between the layers to allow the bag to open consistently.
