Using Air Curtains to Dry Parts & Machinery: Application Sheet
▲By running machined parts over an Air Curtain you can achieve effective drying of the parts.
●Example
▲A plant stamps light gauge steel pieces. The pieces are used as a shielding mechanism inside mobile phones. The parts must be very clean and dry when assembled into the cell phones. The parts run through a washer, problems occur when water spots cling to the steel pieces causing them to be rejected. The plant has replaced compressed air open pipes with an Air Curtain. Since using the Air Curtains no water is being left on the parts and in turn the reject rates have been dramatically reduced.
