INTRODUCING INFINITE SWITCH HOUSINGS FOR M-STYLE SWITCHES
●Allow users to make up to seven connections
●Improve ergonomics for assembly workers
●TE Connectivity (TE) introduces three and four position housings for use with Positive Lock Mark II receptacles or FASTON receptacles and M-style infinite switches. Infinite switches are rotary switches commonly used to control resistive heating elements and provide as many as seven .250 tabs for connections. Unlike some competitive housings, the new TE housings can accept one or two wires per receptacle.
●KEY BENEFITS
■Allow users to make up to seven connections to M-style infinite switches in two easy steps
■Improve ergonomics for assembly workers with large gripping and pushing surfaces
■Accommodate low insertion force, high retention force Positive Lock Mark II receptacles or FASTON receptacles
■Crimp one or two wires into one receptacle with cavities sized to accept up to two wires
■Provide excellent electrical insulation and mechanical protection of connections with nylon 6/6 material
■Provide UL recognition (file E28476) for the U.S. and Canada when used with designated receptacles
