FuseConnect Connectors: APC Housing Assembly applications engineering note
●Installation notes for housing assembly of APC style FuseConnect connectors.
●This applications note is for the termination of FuseConnect single fiber, splice-on connectorsthat have an APC polish. Assembling the housing of the connectors is critical in order to achieve proper angle orientation of the ferrule. Housing assembly occurs after splicing and applying the protective heat sleeve to the splice. The following instructions are to be performed after applying the heat shrink to the splice. Instructions up to this point can be found in the installation instructions included with each kit of six connectors.
