The Monopack is an intelligent easy-to-use stepper motor driver for two-phase bipolar stepper motors with up to 2.5 A coil current. It can be controlled via CAN bus, an RS485 interface or a Step/Direction interface. The Monopack can do up to 406 microsteps and needs a power supply of 16-40 Volts. A Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000 based PC software is supplied to explore the possibilities of the Monopack. To use this software, an RS485 adapter is needed where the data direction is controlled by the RTS line of the PC’s RS232 interface.
