Development of Low-profile TAB･FPC Connector "FF01"
● As portable devices become increasingly compact and light-weight and provide more advanced functions,their LCD connectors are under pressure to achieve lower profiles, lighter weight, and compatibility with a higher number of contacts. To meet this market need, JAE has successfully developed the TAB-FPC connector FF01, which has a maximum mounted profile of 1.0mm and excellent operability that is not dependent on the number of contacts, all while maintaining the characteristics of existing FPC connectors. This new connector will help to expand our share in the FPC connector market, and replace the direct-mounting method for TABs.
