Easy-Form™ Open Cell Backer Rod

Easy-Form™ Open Cell Backer Rod is a compressible, cylindrical polyurethane foam. It is used as a backing for cold applied sealants in expansion/construction joints and building seal applications. The foam is free of heavy metals, plasticisers and CFCs.
The advantages of using Easy-Form™ Open Cell Backer Rod are the elimination of out gassing through the sealant, and quicker sealant curing time.
Easy-Form™ Open Cell Backer Rod is available in grey colour and contains no fire retardants. Rod diameter range is from 10mm to 50mm.
It is recommended to install Easy-Form™ Open Cell Backer Rod in joints at minimum 25% compression to enhance its barrier properties.
